There’s a well-known popular hit song written and sung by the American Artist James Brown that’s entitled, “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” and up until about fifty or sixty years ago this was very much the case! Women were expected to stay at home, look after the children and take care of the day-to-day running of the household and all the duties that went along with that! The song went on to say however that “It ain’t nothing without a woman or a girl” indicating that even when Men went out to work and women stayed at home, that they were just as important to the smooth running of the family household.
Luckily, that’s now all changed and many independent women choose to work in careers that would have in the past only been given to a man. After completing their school education and passing all their exams they go onto College or University, these strong women then go onto achieving successful careers in many Industries and alongside their fellow male counterparts complete several, accredited and recognised Training Courses such as the range of PASMA Courses.
Teaching anyone who completes one of these Industry recognised Courses how to assemble, move and disassemble a scaffold or access tower. Working at heights is often part of the Maintenance, Construction and Painting Sectors of Industry and were in the past, only entered into by the male dominated workforce.
