Natural Wonders to see in New Zealand

New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world as well as one of the most remote. The long distance travelling doesn’t put off many people though as the journey is well worth it. Wai-O-Tapu – Head here and see the stunning coloured springs – a sign of the activity underneath this volcanic land. See the mud pools bubbling away and the dazzling colours of the thermal pools like the Devils bath and the Champagne pool.

Koekohe Beach – The boulders on this beach in Moeraki have fascinated and inspired people for generations. The large circular boulders are an area of geological interest as well as being a striking natural wonder of New Zealand and people travel to visit them from far and wide.

Lake Tekapo – The stunning blue waters of the glacial lake are dazzling, and the lake is also in the dark sky reserve making it an attraction for stargazers who come here at night. In the spring and early summer come here and see the carpet of beautiful lupins here.
