Thinking about the Ethics of testing medicines on Animals!

Always a controversial topic and one that continues to be passionately debated all around the World!  Whatever your personal views on the subject of Animal Testing, make an informed decision.  Subjecting animals to living their short lives in cages where they are force fed experimental dugs or injected with toxins and antibodies to watch for strange reactions sounds like a horror movie!

Unlike companies such as https://www.richmondpharmacology.com/specialist-services/adaptive-phase-i-studies who conduct Adaptive Phase 1 Clinical Studies and don’t participate in this form of testing, certain pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies still do!  Try to make an informed decision and don’t be influenced by hysteria, controversy and suspicion.  The positive impact that testing medicines on animals has had is huge and drugs like antibiotics, Insulin and Cancer cures have all been developed in this way.  It sounds like intolerable cruelty but millions of human lives are saved by researchers discovering new medicines that are tested in this way.  If your loved one was sick and possibly terminally ill wouldn’t you use any method, no matter how extreme to try to save them?
