Cutting your lawn in the summertime. A necessary chore

As we come into midsummer the Garden is in full swing. The spring plants have come and mostly gone and it is that time of year when the place is a riot of colour. This is time that you can sit back a little and enjoy the fruits of your labour. However there are two jobs that are never ending. Eradicating the scourge of weeds and the cutting of the lawn. Grass stops for nothing, it is one of the hardiest plants there is. It can take lots of knocks and still come back stronger.

Whilst weeds are a total pain at least the lawn is an easier prospect. This is especially true if you have a decent lawnmower to make light work of it. It might be time to have a look and see if you are in need of some Briggs And Stratton Parts, like those available from https://diyengineparts.com/Brand/1/briggs-and-stratton-parts to ensure that the old thing is in tip top condition.

It is a good idea to keep an eye on the weather when it comes to the setting for the mower. Too high and you won’t take enough off. Too low and it will suffer if it gets too hot when we have a heatwave. If you know there is going to be a good lot of rain coming then you can go a bit lower so that the ground gets soaking.
