With Spring coming in the next couple of months and the clocks soon to go forward and the flowers soon to shoot up, we can all breathe a sigh of relief that winter is soon over and begin to look forward to the warmer weather.
For many people this means that you may also be looking forward to getting married – a summer wedding is the perfect time for a party as you also have the outdoor option and (hopefully) better weather. If you are one of these people, then read on – here are a few things to consider when you are planning on throwing a party that takes place outdoors…
Where are you going to hold the party – If you plan to have a fairly large gathering, then you may want to hire a venue to make sure that you can comfortably have a large amount of people there. Catering – Outdoor parties are a great opportunity to fire up the barbeque. Hog roasts have become very popular in recent years too. Or why not have a country picnic themed event, complete with picnic baskets for guests and blankets on the floor.
The Weather – Although it may be Spring and Summer the British weather is notoriously changeable and difficult to predict – so always have a plan for what to do if the weather isn’t the best. Fire pits and outdoor heat lamps will provide warmth, but if it rains you will also need to think about providing shelter from it, especially if it becomes a torrential downpour!
